Enlarge Your Mental Wallet So You Can Live Large

Believe it or not, many people don’t give themselves permission to live life to the fullest. For many people, they think that ‘good enough’ is enough for their needs. They don’t dare to dream big. They don’t dare to push the envelope. They don’t dare to want the best for themselves and their loved ones.

If this all sounds weird and unusual, you would be surprised by how many people are content to dine on crumbs when life has spread out a grand buffet around them. Sad? You bet. Frustrating. Sure. All too common? Absolutely.

The truth is, your mind is your most powerful asset. It can turn ideas into reality. With the right action, it can turn stuff you dream about into everyday waking realities. However, you have to use your mind properly for you to achieve your full potential.

Sadly, thinking small and thinking in terms of fear hold people down and keep them in mental chains. As a result, they are like eagles who settle for eating chicken feed when they can soar in the sky.

Overcoming small thinking

The first step to earning the income you deserve is to look at your current earnings. Are you getting paid what you deserve? Why not? What are you willing to sacrifice to earn more? How hard are you willing to work so you can get more? You have to answer these questions with all the honest and determination you  can determine. If you only answer YES to certain questions, you are settling for a life of frustration by whining but not acting.

You have to answer all the questions and resolve to act. Don’t settle for the crumbs life throws you. Instead, set your sights on a huge goal. How huge? We’re talking audacious. We’re talking bold. If you are earning $50,000 a year, set yourself a target for $500,000 a year. Unrealistic? Absolutely not. Why? You are creative, and you are resourceful.

When you set up a bold target, you unleash the creative, social, and networking mechanisms in your being to help you achieve that goal. When you focus on small goals and keep your expectations low, you dampen your creative abilities, your intellectual abilities, and your ability to work towards a goal.

Overcoming fear of failure

Life rewards action. However, action sometimes ends in failure. Get over it. It’s a fact of life. You can’t make a shot if you don’t take a shot. You lose out when you don’t even try. Don’t let fear hold you back from the best life you are capable of producing. Failure is just success in disguise anyway.

As long as you are willing to learn, you can turn your failures into successes. Don’t let the fear of failure prevent you from taking action. Enlarge your mental wallet and take action by putting together a plan today.
